The mission of the DSP Elite Team is to champion the aspirations of elite amateur endurance athletes living with Type 1 diabetes. We are dedicated to providing unwavering support, fostering a community of resilience, and promoting a culture of empowerment. Our goal is to assist T1D athletes in their journey to qualify for prestigious events: the Boston Marathon, the Ironman World Championship, and the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. As a team, we prove that with determination, discipline, and proper management, individuals with Type 1 diabetes can excel in the most demanding endurance challenges. Through a collaborative and supportive environment, we aim to inspire, educate, and break down barriers, showcasing the extraordinary potential within each athlete. Together, we redefine limits, redefine expectations, and redefine what is possible in the world of endurance sports for those with Type 1 diabetes.
